HIFEM vs. EMS - which works better

Both EMS and HIFEM promise to build muscle and lose fat in a minimal amount of time. But what's the difference? And which method brings better results?

What is EMS?

EMS stands for electro-myo-stimulation and has long been used in medicine to stimulate individual muscles, for example after orthopedic operations. But now EMS is also increasingly used for muscle training. This is currently offered particularly in gyms.

How does EMS work?

The simple idea is that muscles shrink when not in use and strengthen when you strain them. So far, training has required a lot of time and discipline. But EMS promises that you can train your muscles without lifting weights - the current creates a strain on the muscle. The patient puts on a suit with moistened electrodes that conduct weak current impulses through the skin into the muscle. Thus, the muscle fibers contract comfortably without effort.

How effective is EMS?

Sports scientists point out that the method is only effective for individual muscles, but is not suitable for training all over the body. EMS mainly stimulates fast muscle fibers directly under the skin, because the current cannot penetrate deep into the muscles. As a result, the few stimulated muscle fibers tire quickly. This is also felt by the patient, who feels quite limp after using the whole body. This may feel like the comforting exhaustion after real training, but unfortunately it is not a sign of success. EMS cannot keep up with conventional strength training in the gym when building muscle, especially if it is used only once a week.

What is TeslaSculpt HIFEM technology?

TeslaSculpt HIFEM device, however, works completely differently. A magnetic field is created here that reaches large nerves, which leads to maximum contraction of the entire muscle tissue. For this purpose, applicators are placed on the surface of the body area to be treated and strapped on. There they emit impulses and generate an electromagnetic field. This leads to the muscles contracting thousands of times in a very short time - more precisely 36,000 times in a 30-minute session.

Results with TeslaSculpt HIFEM device?

Where EMS only stimulates the muscles on the surface, TeslaSculpt penetrates into much deeper muscle layers and contracts significantly larger muscles. That is why it is so effective for large muscle groups such as the abdomen and buttocks. The large-scale muscle building then automatically leads to better fat burning. Where situps or squats activate about 50% of the muscle group every three to five seconds, TeslaSculpt trains 100% of the muscle 36,000 times in 30 minutes.

TeslaSculpt is extremely effective

After treatment with EMS, there is no demonstrable muscle gain and no measurable fat loss after several weeks. With TeslaSculpt it looks different. After 8 weeks, you can expect an average of 16% muscle gain in the treated area and an average fat loss of 19%. This is achieved because the metabolism around the treated muscle group is strongly stimulated. The treatment works best if you train regularly and want to give your body the finishing touch. With regular training, muscle growth and fat loss also last much longer.

The clear conclusion

EMS cannot keep up with conventional strength training, but TeslaSculpt leads to measurable and visible results in a short amount of time. If you want to perfect your body in a short amount of time, you should do this with TeslaSculpt
